Hi, posting here as it seems to be the channel for getting tech support on the unsupported asterisk vfx accounts.

Callers to my VFX number have been getting dumped directly into my VFX voicemail.

An "ngrep -t -d eth0 port 5060 and host 58.28.20.150" shows no incoming SIP messages from wxcnz during a call.

However, "sip show peers" shows VFX as registered and asterix's keep-alive SIP messages are present and I'm getting "404 Not found" replies from wxcnz which tells me that the two computers are talking to each other.

Can the VFX guys help?

cheers,

Hauptmech

Hmm. Thanks sbiddle. Show peers showed my status as OK. Because I could call out just fine, I didn't think to check that.

Sip show registry revealed my state as "No Authentication". A restart of asterisk fixed that to "Registered"

Weird that I could still call out.

Thanks!

SIP registrations are for incoming calls only - you have configured the host/auth to use in sip.conf for outgoing calls :)
