Will be interesting to see what happens here. My understanding is that Sky are getting 6 and 7 so Telstra would be the only ones left out in the cold if they don't get them.

Why should telstra not have it? IMO for tvnz to have dicked around with not getting it visible to every household is not being resonsible with the taxpayer money they were given to make the content.
With 10 or so days to go until TVNZ 6 and 7 go live on Sky there seems to have been no announcement from Telstra Clear regarding these channels so I would assume at this stage they aren't going ahead?
As far as i know sky provides TC with all its TV content anyway doesnt it.. so i would expect that we Tax paying TC customers would get it as well.. (as soon as TC tick the relevent boxes and flick the relevent switches)
Asked the customer team and got a reply of: "TelstraClear intends to discuss our options around offering TVNZ 6 & 7 with TVNZ over the next few weeks, but has no confirmed plans to introduce them to the InHome TV line up at this point."
I'm sure thats what their FAQ has been saying for months now so I won't be holding my breath :(
I would have thought it would have been included in their deal with SKY, that whatever channels SKy boughts on, then TelstraClear would have the rights to them, but maybe TVNZ and TelstraClear have a separate deal
