We had an old D Link 504G Router
We had a cabinit installed up the rd a few months ago!!'
Im on the VF Ultimate Plan
I rang VF and the call centre operator about weather we can expect an improvement in d/l speed. They said No.!!


Today I tried a friends ADSL2 + router and we were able to get double the d/l speed.
From a 6.5 to near 13Mbit/.sec based on trace through Tauranga.


I have since purchased a Linksys AG 300 4 Port ADSL 2 Gateway and can confirm that we are able to maintain that connection.
So it seems that the VF call centre staff dont know what they are talking about
