There are a few units out there for reviewers so I guess it will be soon.

Chris made the same mistake I did: you CAN use a Google Apps for Domains account on the Magic. It's just that if you leave off the domain name, it appends "gmail.com" so your username won't work. If you type in your entire email address with custom domain, it works fine.

My review here: http://www.ben.geek.nz/vodafone-nz-htc-magic/ (with handy selection pseudocode).

Vodafone are being strangely tight-lipped about pricing and availability.

i'd be surprised if it didn't work, as google hosted domains emails works grand with BIS 2.7 it gives total reconciliation, why would it give that to blackberry and not give the same functionality to their own phone? Good job!

Just got my invite to the launch party on the 24th of June. I guess that's the launch date then?

Apparently if you register your interest online through the Vodafone website, you will get a special offering when the phone beocmes available.

I wonder what their offer is????

In Auckland I saw the same guy on a black motorbike at both the Skytower and the Takapuna pumphouse (from where he raced off to the golf course). Wonder if he got both phones?

Out of interest how many people where turning up?
We had a bet running at work that the final place would be the observatory, almost headed down and waited there but we were a bit busy and I assumed other people would have had the same idea
