I have an 021-xxx-xxx number, originally on Motormouth, in my name, which has been changed to Prepay.

I now want to have this number moved to my employers corporate account to replace the 021+7digits I was issued.

Is this possible being that the number has been moved to Prepay?

Does the number need to go back Motormouth first?

The reason I ask is because of the following statement on the vodafone webste:
http://www.vodafone.co.nz/help/name-changes/index.jsp

"If you have moved your number from On Account to Prepay or Prepay to On Account you will be unable to do Mobile Number Transfer or Transfer of Title in the future."

johnr: Two weeks ago, I was going to help one of my staff to transfer a prepay number to my company's corporate account and was told that was not possible.

As quoted on our service request:
"No it still isn't possible to transfer prepay numbers to corporate accounts
Cheers
Chris "

i had the same issue with my wifes phone - johnr suggested moving it a no contract on account first. as it turned out we didnt bother because the company didnt allow add-ons like txt packages and that made using it for dual-purpose more expensive. carrying around two phones was cheaper (well, for us anyway)

Vodafone are unable to do a Mobile Number Transfer if the number was originally Prepay - unless this has changed - And in your case being originally an on account number

my OnAccount - then Telecom port, then "brought home" to replace a 7-digit OnAccount MSISDN, then prepay is now getting sucked into MNVO-Compass which is still essentially Vodafone, will update if it's successful. a lot of moves and good opportunity for dtill to go wrong but all good thus far

*MSISDN = Mobile number IE: +6421600600
