Disappointing.. how likely is it that Telecom will come out before the 10th confirming that they will carry the iphone?

This on the VF site:

"To purchase an iPhone 3GS with no plan you must purchase via the Vodafone Online Shop."

WTF? Can't go into a store and purchase one outright?

I am paying $53.95 on XT Network for what's practically the equivalent to the iPhone $60 plan - and I am not in a term, so no fees to pay if I decide to move...

Couldn't have said it better myself.  Looks like I'll be giving the middle finger (again) to VF and, if I even get it, will be buying it with no plan.

Plans are irrelevant to me... but WTF, I can't buy just the phone on Friday at a store? What are you playing at VF?
