Heya, Just got hold of a Blackberry 8100, Im just using a ordinary sim that is loaded with a Txter plan. When i try to access the net it says that the Sim Card is not valid...?

hmm .. does it have a browser? you would need a blackberry plan to access the net, or google 'blackberry without BIS/BES' .. I would not go down that track as it is limited to what you can do.

I have a blackberry curve 8310 I run on prepaid. If you go into advanced options and go to TCP use www.vodafone.net.nz for the APN and leave the username and password blank. Then you can use twitterberry for twitter, opera mobile for the internet and the official Gmail app On it :D you have to install apps using the desktop program as opera mobile does not allow over the air downloads. Also I havnt found a fix for MMS yet.. Can anyone help with that?
