Well,

Long story short,

im on the Mega plan with Vodafone (200 VF/VF mins, 20 national mins, 2000 txts, 1 free bestmate)

I have 2 best mates.

Last time I had a best mate, it was $4 for the second best mate a month, yet now, I'm being charged $10

Have the prices increased without my knowledge? THis doesnt sit right, and I also remember one time I had trouble with best mates, where thye added the best mate into the wrong field which then effectively charged me for 3 best mates, instead of 2.

But yeah, last time it was $4 for the extra best mate, not $10. Whats going on here?

also,

how the hell do I cancel a best mate at 10.34pm at night..

Honestly. -__- (And don't say MyVodafone, because for onaccount, we don't have that "Feature")

looks like you are being charged for both bestmates....price for 1best mate is $6, 2bestmates $10 and 3bestmates $12...so by the look of it they are charging you for combo of 2 bestmates when you are suppose to get 1 free and only pay for 1...

Hmm. Guess I will have to ring them tomorrow..

I guess they'll have to credit me back for this.. again.

Why do they keep doing this.. GRR.

Before you do call, because you have one free bestmate, have you checked there's no credit on the bill for it?

Well, rang in first thing this morning; spoke to a lovely lady in Auckland (Business Center), and her and a collogue looked into my bill and confirmed I had in fact been charged too much.

Also canceled a best mate (which I was actually trying to do last night when i discovered the charges), and my bill rolled over today,

so they credited all the over charges back, plus the other $4 for the best mate since I couldn't personally change my bestmate myself last night before my bill rolled over.

All I can say is i'm dealing with NZ'ers more and more, and I'm loving every minute of it. (as much as i do hate not being able to make changes to my own account myself)

Either way, extremly pleased that it was resolved quickly, and easily.

PS: I was even greeted, and asked how I was this morning. (Kind of blew me away to be honest)

Now that's the way it should always be!

Unfortunately not.. I've been on and off the phone all day today to different call centers (for various reasons) so for all i know, it could be Mary, or Joanne, Tom, Dick, or even Harry.

All I can say, is that she was well spoken, easy to deal with, and very friendly.
