Hey

Firstly - Sorry if this has been discussed before, I had a search but couldn't find anything.

I'm wondering whether theres a way to check how much of the 10MB I have used for the day?

I would like to use the full 10MB (roughly) after I pay the $1... but really don't want to have to buy another data block.

Thanks a lot!

On $1 a day you can not purchase another data block

Once you reach 10meg its $1 per meg after

Now for tracking when you reach %80 you will get a SMS from Vodafone and another when you get to %100 1$

Very cool. I haven't got any TXT from Vodafone regarding my Casual Data daily usage yet... but is this "measurement" done in realtime or 2hrs time-lot?

I know the BAL to 777 mentioned its details get updated 2hourly. Also, wouldn't it be ideal to see the Casual Data balance/usage be reported in BAL as well?

Is this a new notification service? I have never received any SMS and have twice this month used more than 10 MB /day on the $1 / 10MB casual data plan.

I recon its a quick way for Vodafone to make more bucks. Ie sending the notification sms late or not at all. There is also probably some fine print somewhere stating that they not obliged to warn you.

All the times I used it I never got a message, and once I went up to 25 meg using google maps (which was another 15 bucks I think + the original 1 dollar). I checked as I was going and an hour or so after and it wasn't until several hours later that I saw it turn up on the website.

Use with caution or get some kind of data counter on your device

I used the casual data plan when I was down there in December. I remember getting at least one SMS when I reached 8MB.

It would be cool if they had real-time data usage on the subscriber web page.
