anyone have any info on the latest (now hour long) outage? the ppp auth servers seem to be down at the very least..

XNet's home page posts scheduled outages for a few days from midnight until 6:00 while the mail server is migrated.

I have not had VOIP service all day however, and when I tried phoning this morning there was a backlog on their helpdesk so I emailed at 11:09. Still awaiting a phone connection, or reply, or better still, both.

My wife is starting to get tetchy - and guess who decided to go VOIP??

Have you tried rebooting your router or ATA? The VFX service certainly isn't down.

Several times without success. Net connection is working fine.

Just rebooted yet again. Back on line but no dial tone and a disconnect signal if I try to phone in.
Got me stumped.

Last time it happened - just after we signed up months ago it was traced to a Telecom exchange fault.
Will ring XNet first thing tomorrow.
