So i'm on the Broadband Everyday (24 Months) and just got charged an extra $9.99 because I went over 1GB by a couple of MBs.

Am getting sick of this.

Seriously Vodafone, when are you gonna get a decent usage tracker?

If I use 1.8GBs then sure, but if I have to guess how much I've used and keep checking every 10 minutes during the last few days of my plan to avoid going over the cap, that's really not a good service.

Oh and it would be nice if the bill listed the extra $9.99 as a charge for an extra 1GB, rather than just increasing the price of the listed plan by $9.99 to try and hide it.

The $9.99 would be vodafones $10 charge to go up to the limit again.

Yep, I did realise that.

However, I must admit it took a while to work out.

You would imagine a charge like that would be added as a new line on the bill, so it might look something like this:

Broadband 1GB Plan: $49.95   (the line that is always there)

Extra 1GB               ; $9.95

but instead they just changed the line that is always there to:

Broadband 1GB Plan: $59.94

I just think that's a very unusual way of dealing with an 'added' charge.

I love how 2degrees billing is in REAL time.

I went to the 2d web portal, then checked my balance straight away and the 1c was deducted already.

It's instant.... i don't see why Vodafone can't do this, they just updated their billing system not long ago and there is still up to 90 minutes delay.

Please note that the credit is the thing that updates in real time. The usage page does not updade in real time.

2D is only offering prepay connections

Vodafone prepay billing is live

On account is only rated approx 90 minutes after

Why is OA not live either?

It used to really annoy me that i couldnt see what credits i had in realtime.

cradit balance is live on Voda, Telecom and 2D.

AFAIK, data usage is not live on Voda and Telecom (X minutes delay), and is irrelevant on 2D since they have no Data plans.

Its just you cant see any of the live billing on vodafone, so them having it is largly useless to the end user.
