Hi,

I believe VoiceMail is part of the basic feature set of VFX, right?
So I called the Voice Portal and recorded my name.
But in MyVfx I can't see any way to activate voice mail for that to answer after a number of rings and for voice messages to be forwarded to an e-mail address.

All I can see under Messaging>VoicePortal is:
Use Personalized Name for Auto Attendant and Voice Messaging
Recorded from Voice Portal
Auto-login to Voice Portal when calling from my phone

I've also tried enabling VoiceMail from the VFX Manager. Now I can see the options under "Messaging" but when they just don't get saved. After hitting 'Refresh' all tick boxes and text fields get cleared. Options under Forwarding and Control work fine though.
I've disabled any Call Forwarding option, that would interfere with VoiceMail.

www.myvfx.co.nz -> Messaging -> Greetings -> at bottom number of rings before greeting. Also Messaging - Voice Portal -> turn on voice messaging. Perhaps the number of rings before greeting is set to none?

After you've clicked on Messaging on the left-hand side of the screen, click on Voice Management instead of Voice Portal and all will be revealed...

Unfortunately I can't see Voice Management either.

You do not have VoiceMail activated as a service, when you sign up we ask if you would like VM, it is part of the service but only activated if you ask for it,

Phone in to support and get it turned on and all will be revealed

Cool, I'll do it.
I subscribed online, then they called me and I must have said I didn't want VoiceMail, can't remember.

I'll take the chance to update my contact details, there's no way for me to correct the spelling ;-)

Send us the details and we will correct the details, happens all the time I'm afraid with Names etc , but no biggee to get it changed

At on time, voice mail was considered an option that was automatically turned on.

With some people using hardware answering machines, I think they simply decided to have it now so you have to get it turned on. No problem to get it done - but not sure all the online descriptions have caught up with that policy change...

I checked this morning and Voicemail was setup for you at 17:50 last night, so all should be good.

If the spelling is not correct post it here and I can fix that for you pretty quickly

Thanks, voicemail is working now!

The spelling error is about our address. I'm slightly concerned because somewhere they say that's the information that appears on the screen of emergy services.
What happens when you move?
