Hi, how do I set it up?  Is that via wifi or mobile data?

I have searched online on VF but the E75 model is not shown under mobile data / email.

Thanks.

I'd get Nokia Messaging on the phone, much better than the inbuilt client. You can set it to manual retrieval only and do it when you're handy to WiFi.

I mentioned in your other post that it might be time to add a little data - for example Vodafone's $10 for 100MB would be enough for push email via Nokia Messaging, A-GPS, and browsing here and there too...

E75 comes with Nokia Messaging preinstalled (and a 2 year licence for it)

All you need to do is start the Email Application and enter your details. If you have a common POP or IMAP account then all you should need is your email address and password.

I think before, it has been on mobile data - prepay. I checked my balance and I noticed it has gone down, I tried to find the link to billing and cycle (VF) but I couldn't find it. Maybe I was using VF mobile data before and the simcard was equipped with that - that it just worked.

Then I put my 2degrees simcard in my phone and it won't work, it keeps asking me the access point name and password - what is this? I did this while wifi was turned on and I had a webpage opened.

Would the E75 only support only mobile data?

A bit of google search, I found this:

http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/discussions/board/message?board.id=messaging&message.id=17557

It seems like the guy got the later firmware or whatever update and it goes via the menu to see what advanced setting there is - to ask him how to connect to email .....

I don't get the option either in advanced email settings. I just get ports and stuff.
Maybe on my phone it has the newer update, it just connect to mobile data straight away ....

Maybe it is a business model phone and it connects directly to access the email client. If I install a 2nd email account I have the choice for it to be manual or to put it underneath my primary email and it will also be automatic.

I was on VF simcard and immediately it said ding dong - you have new mail, while it was just sitting there on the table.

Put my 2D simcard in and it said continously asking me for the access point name ... I still working on the setting in that, I got the 3x messages that contains the settings but doesn't work for the email client.

Also, Skype is not yet supported on the E75, anything in the pipeline or can I use MSN or something else?
