Hi,

I've been with TCL at my current address for about a year. When I signed up, I chose not to pay for wiring maintenance. I got a letter today stating that wiring maintenance will be added to my account from November. Is it no longer optional? Did anyone else get a letter like this?

Thanks.

Have you called TCL to ask them?

From the TCL website

Do I need to have Wiring Maintenance?
We recommend you have this insurance. If you already have wiring maintenance it will automatically be transferred. If you want to add or discontinue wiring maintenance please notify us once your existing services have been transferred. Please note you need to have had this service for 30 days before your fault is covered.

All sorted now. It had been added in error and is still optional.
