Maybe the answer will also help somebody else 8-).
I've been using GPRS for quite some time, and am quite used to programatically getting my modem (normally a phone, but often Wavecom boards) to dial *99***
My questions:
(1) With a 3G phone (eg my Z1010), do I dial something different?
Or do I just do "as I did for GPRS", but the modem/phone will route the data over the faster 3G network?
(2) If I'm out of 3G coverage, theoretically will my phone/modem just drop back to using the 2G (standard GPRS) network?
Thanks for your help.
