Hi Im currently on the Xnet River plan with telecom home line, thinking about changing to Xnet Fusion. I live in NorthShore Browns Bay area, will I get faster speeds by changing to fusion? cus ive read in some of these forums that the speeds are really slow at the moment...... i currently have 1~2Mb/s down 0.8Mb/s up from speedtest.net
At the moment, i really don't recommend it. It's not getting any better with Fusion.
I've actually turned back to the darkside.
Xnet have amazing server, great bunch of guys and girls. But the just aren't getting good speeds to anyone :( including the 5 of so friends I've told to go sign up :S and then told that I've changed plans, leaving them stuck for a bit.
I have moved across the ditch. Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.
um, to be honest, no i still wouldn't recommend it over bigtime!!! big time seems faster for youtube, videos, downloading from akamai/gameplanet servers, microsoft updates, nvidia updatse, webpages. It seems slower though for: gaming
Torrenting is slow on both really, pretty much due to the fact that the ports are monitored
