Hi All,

This has probably been asked before but here goes. My brother has marginal 2g coverage at his house near Taupo. From the coverage map the 900 MHz 3G is superb. Will a 900 MHz 3G phone use the 900 MHz 3G to carry voice calls or will it just use it for data? He is after a voice solution.

Cheers,

Matt.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

3G is a different network - therefore it carries both voice and data.

Some places in NZ only have 3G sites so yer as above voice and data are carried across the 3G network
