Does anyone know if Vodafone have any plans to launch the HTC Universal in New Zealand? Being a 3G smartdevice it would fit nicely with Vodafone?

Yes, it will be available in New Zealand, and Vodafone has been showing it around. I would say around October...

HTC is a manufacturer of pocket pc phone edition devices. You will often see their products released under another manufacturers or carriers name, but this seems to be happening less, with HTC becoming a mainstream brand name in its own right.
