I am going to buy an iphone 3GS. I want to buy it online with iPhone 60 so I get the dock.  I am about 15 months through a 24month youchoose plan. If I choose to put my existing number on my sim, will it cancel my old plan and replace it with the new one? Because I thought that to get the iPhone subsidy price I had to pay a early termination fee, however in the checkout it doesn't add a early termination fee to my invoice. Still says $650. So I am presuming it just changes my plan to a iphone one?

Also, how long would postage  take to Christchurch?

Thank you :)

You are still under contract as advised in your post you may need to break that contract or you may be able to do a early resign but you will be charged a fee possibley of $150 + gst for early resign and more to break your contract. Check with customer service please

and the phones are not posted out but couriered

Yes, I found the 3 day thing.

But does that mean I'll have 1 sim card on my current plan and 1 on a iphone plan if I buy online and transfer my number?

Damn, just checked and the free 3GB of data offer is gone. I was hoping they'd extend it. Hopefully more offers coming :)

You have a active connection under contract now already! Do you want 2 active connections under contract paying 2 invoices per month?

Oh.

I'll just head down to a vodafone store tomorrow and get one.

One last thing, can I add add-ons to iPhone plans? 200 texts may not be enough. Is it possible to add text 600 on?

cheers :)

Yup, around $150. I'd happily shell out that just to replace this slow iphone 2G that seems to lag horribly for no reason at all D:
