Is it possible to get an 029 Prepay SIM? I heard on 029 it is possible to switch to Prepay from an account plan & keep your same number.

029 prepay SIM's definately do exist - I have one in my old phone which I keep on prepay. As to whether you can change between prepay/contract I have no idea.

Prepays are no longer avail.

No you cannot switch from account to pre-pay or vice versa sorry.

No switching from account to prepay i can understand, but unavailable the other way around? Thats just madness.

Remember it's essentially Vodafone's network as they aren't a true MVNO. Vodafone can't let you switch between the 2 without changing your number so it would be unlikely that Telstra could.
