Hey,

I have still got one of the old Vodafone SIM cards (not a SIM2) and for some reason it has just stopped working, whenever I turn my phone on I get Sim Card Error, and it is not my phone as I have tried it on another phone. I have also tried another old SIM card and I get the same error...

Any help will be appriciated!

Cheers
Sam

Maybe the SIM has just died its just one of those things that happen just like a TV blowing up. Go get a new SIM

Hi

You should have actually received a txt message to the phones I believe 30 days and then 10 days before it was deactivated. However if you don't use your phone very often the message may have expired and you would have not received it.

Anyway, unlucky I guess.

this problem is not a disconnetion thing it is an sim card error the sim card has been damaged in someway this can some times be caused by maunetic's and just sraching

now if the sim card was discounnected due to none use for 1year then the sim card would not beable to register with the Vodafone Network and it would just not pick up any service that's how you can tell.
