Hi guys,

I recently changed my plan from standard xnet flood plan to fusion and am having problems getting my phone to work.

I purchased a RT31P2 off trademe and I've configured my setup thusly.

I have a router/modem connected to the phone jack in the wall with the appropriate filter applied and my internet connection works just fine.

I have connected the RT31P2 with the supplied ethernet cable from the "Internet" port on the RT31P2 to one of the ports on my router/modem. My phone is connected to the Phone 1 port on the RT31P2.

I read a thread from 08 by a user "Aaron15" or something like that where he had another linksys router with similar setup pages etc. and I googled a way to enter the appropriate URL provided by xnet into the "Provisions" tab for the RT31P2 and saved that configuration. I powered off the router and restarted after 10 minutes.

The Phone 1 light is lit up and I have a dial tone on my phone but I can't make any calls, I hear the dialing but then there's no sound for ~5-6 seconds then I hear beeping, following by really loud angry beeping ~10 seconds after that.

I've spent a few hours today scouring the internet for any info of people using this router with xnet but can't find anyone with problems (This router has been sold on trademe many times and is touted as being compatible with VFX according to the seller).

Basically I've hit a brick wall at the moment and some guidance would be super awesome ;)
