I posted a while back about our trials getting our homeline and broadband moved. It was a nightmare but we got it sorted (thanks to Paul Brislen).

We've moved again - we were doing the short term rental thing until we moved into our new house. The experience this time was completely different. I booked the move for today and first thing this morning the phone line at the flat went off and the phone line at our new house was on and surfing at 11Mbs.

I've got to say this was the best telecommunications experience I've had. It's great to see that sometimes things do work out!

Had the same experience when we moved house a couple of weeks ago, the service was prompt and the only problem I've had was I was charged with a $199 early termination fee. When the new invoice arrived 3 days ago on my e-mail I was shocked to see the extra $199 charge, but I called them immediately and the customer support guy talked to his supervisor for a few minutes and they waived it. Cheers Vodafone!

Thanks for taking the time to let us know... I'll pass that on to the fixed team. They've put in a huge amount of work to make life easier in recent times - they'll be pleased to know it's working!

cheers

Paul

A big thanks to Christine from VF as well from my side. My ADSL line profile was stuck on 7616 whereas my cabinet can now do ADSL2+. I Contacted her couple of days ago and she sorted out my problem and had interleaving turned off on my line. Enjoying ADSL2+ speeds now :-)

Do whatever you want to do man.

I've always been a pretty big believer that if you bitch and moan when things go wrong you should also give people a pat on the back when they fix what was wrong.

I agree, Vodafone are super efficient. Been a customer for just under a month and saw I got charged for My Sky when I got billed. Quick call and everything got sorted out.

It's still early days but very happy so far Laughing
