I'm using a Vodafone SIM on a Slingshot supplied Nokia 2730 Classic, and it seems Mobile TV is not working. I get a "No Response" message after waiting for it to load.

I searched the problem and it appears this problem surfaced before with the Nokia 6234.

I paid for Mobile TV last Wednesday, and have been unable to watch it.

Have also updated to the newest firmware, but problem is still not resolved. Anyone else using 2730 Classic encountering similar issues?

Check the media player (real player / one player) settings and the access point its using for streaming

Issue is not related to the Nokia 6234 issue along time ago

Yes, I have checked the settings is the Vodafone one.

Since this phone is supplied by Vodafone (from the Vodafone branding and logo on the phone), this is the only settings I have on the phone.

The media player on this phone is "Music Player". It does not appear to have a RealPlayer installed.

I tried adding the video link as bookmark, and the link was to 172.27.19.254 .

I also have the Nokia 2730 Classic.

I haven't tried streaming Sky on it but I am able to stream YouTube without any problems.... are you able to stream youtube videos?

Also, how did you find out what the media player was on your phone? Can't find that option. I'll see if mine is setup the same.

The media player is the only one in the Entertainment option under Menu.

I'm back in Auckland now, and it looks like Sky Mobile TV is working fine here. I'm not sure if the problem has been fixed elsewhere, but I'll give it a try when I'm in Palmerston North again. It wasn't working when I last tried there on Wednesday.

Yeap, it looks like it's working in Palmerston North as well. So I think the issue was with the handset, not the location. It just happened that I was in Auckland that it worked.
