My in-laws are using the "Email Carbon Copy of VM to..." option. Is there an option to delete the VM after sending this email? They never retrieve the VM through the phone so now and then their VM box gets full.

My understanding is there is no option to auto delete on forwarding, and yes, it is a dumb idea not to have such a feature.

To my knowlege, no there isn't an option to do this.

I too find the lack of such an option annoying - when you listen to your VM on the PC, you tend not to call and manage your VM over the phone. And if you don't have a phone that reminds you you have unread VM's (like I do) one tends to completely forget about it.

There is a vfx application for windows that is available to configure your vfx phone settings. I have used this to disable the phone message waiting alert you hear when pick up the receiver and have messaes waiting.

I can't remember the app name or have a link but if you search these forums / Wxc site or email Wxc help desk it should be easy enough to get

THis option is there via VFX Manager which allows you to forward your Voice to EMail not Carbob Copy,

NB .....this effectively moves VM to a email service only ! i.e there will not be VM indication on the phone or Voice Mail stored on the server,

The option to forward to EMail is only open via VFX Manager.

This was asked when e-mail messaging was started. At the time you had to phone them and ask to get the message always deleted, as I believe they wanted you to verbally agree to it and make sure you understand the implications. That is how I got it done many moons ago. It was posted here.

Perfect. Can do. They don't mind the lack of the WMI on the handset - they get so many messages they know they always have something waiting. She never listens to the messages over the phone, except to clear up the mailbox since they are all sent to her email.
