If you have the Euro firmware on it, then there should be no problem with the Vodafone Live! You just have to setup Internet and Streaming settings on your phone manually. Done that many times now. Cheers!

I tried ;

Internet Setting>APN Settings
Access Point Name:VFNZ
APN:live.vodafone.com

Use Name:None
Password:None
DNS:None
Linger Time:180

Internet setting>Proxy settings
Proxy Name:VFNZ Internet
Proxy Address:170.030.038.003
Access Point:VFNZ
Home:http://live.vodafone.com
Port Number:8080
Authentication Type:HTTP-BASIC
User Name:none
Password:None

Internet setting>Streaming Settings
Plofile Name:VFNZ
Proxy addrss:172.030.038.003

OK here's another way of doing it. First do a Master Reset choose Reset All, the code is 9999 (default) You'll lose all downloaded and saved stuff as well as phone numbers. Please don't forget to back-up.

Then create new Access Point

Access Point: Vodafone Access

APN: live.vodafone.com

Auth Type: PAP

Then proxy:

Proxy: Vodafone Proxy

Proxy Add: 172.030.038.003

Access Point: refer to the access point account created above (Vodafone Access)

Home: http://live.vodafone.com

Port: 8080

Auth Type: HTTP-BASIC

Then WAP settings, create new

Name: Vodafone Live

Proxy: Vodafone Proxy

Use Proxy: On

Then activate it.

For the streaming

Create new

Name: Vodafone Streaming

Proxy Address: blank

Proxy Port: 554

Access Point : Vodafone Access

Then activate it. Good luck!

:)

Flushing it is easy boy, hehehe. Flashing it is another story. you need to take it to stores selling this models, parallel imported phones. You'll be charged depending on the stores' rate.

Or look for "muppet" in our user list and ask him if he can do it.
