I'm with Vodafone, as is my wife. I'm on-acount, she is Prepay. My on-account account is in credit.

I used to be able to login to My Vodafone and top up her phone via my Vodafone account and have it added to my Vodafone bill (or come off the credit I have). I think Vodafone's billing system changed a few years ago and this function was removed. I just tried to readd her number via My Vodafone and got the error,

" To add a Prepay mobile to your access please call customer services on 777 direct from your mobile.

With Service Online you can view your account balance, your personal details and top up your account."

Calling customer services the rep told me I could only top up her phone is via credit card. So - is it no longer possible to topup a Prepay phone from an on-account account? This was a handy service to have had access to. My wife is overseas currently and it would be good to be able to top her up via my account.
