I'm using a 3g Nokia 2730 ever since my trusty Motorola K3 was stolen in Jan.

I used to be able to log onto geekzone's mobile page but now when i try, it says "unknown file formate". It also won't let me stream youtube videos.

I can access gmail and nzherald just fine though.

Any ideas what's causing this?

It sounds like you are accesing it through the WAP gateway. This could be causing problems.

Try using the VFNZ internet access point instead of VFNZ Gateway

In Configuration Settings, I have two options:

Configuration -> Default OR Vodafone NZ (Vodafone NZ is selected)

Account -> VF NZ WAP (this is selected and is the only option available)

Vodafone NZ internet is selected. No other ones have been setup.

Access point = www.vodafone.net

No .nz

Saw that in the VF settings post and just changed it to .nz but no diff.

Arhh, anyone know the default password for the Nokia 2730? Want to reset it back to defaults because it used to work and don't know the code. It's not 0000, 1234.

Found password, it was 12345

Reset to default settings and still get error message "file format unknown" when visiting geekzone.co.nz
