TCL ADSL currently down in Whakatane (parents are also with TCL and theirs is down too). Anyone else having trouble?

mine just stopped for a few minutes but it was Snap so not sure what the problem was

Huh, mine went out for a bit as well until I rebooted the modem. And I'm at Orcon. So maybe a more general ADSL network glitch.

It's still out here, been down for about 30 minutes now. Modem gets DSL connection but no PPP. Would that indicate something between the local exchange and TCL?

Edit: I see two more replies snuck in there. I wonder whether they're being "reactivated" on an ISP-by-ISP basis or something.

Edit 2: And we're back :)
I see from gtx's Twitter that Xnet is back too.

Yep back. Very annoying, must have been a network glitch that was ISP wide.

We still have no official update, however this effected by the looks of it multiple ISP's and there is one common factor, so without having an official update from Telecom I can only say the issue appears to be related to them.
