Bought a new BB 9700 in the weekend, John from our local first mobile gave me a discount and gave me VF's tech support number to ring to set it up.

Called the number and Aroha from tech support had it set up and running within 20 minutes after swapping my pins from BB to BB, she even set up an account for me at My Blackberry so I can swap whenever I like.

So thanks Vodafone, job well done.

I believe they should get positive recognition when deserved rather than only negative feedback

Quite agree - getting more than a bit sick of people that only come here to moan...

Exactly why I posted this.

Oh and FYI extended 3G on the 9700 is awesome. I was standing in a paddock in rural ohakune in the weekend browsing the net with full 3G! Just awesome

Excellent thank you. I have to admit though that when I was told to ring CS and get them to sort it out my heart sank a little thinking we would be into the new week before it was sorted.

My wife and I were in a hurry to leave to go away for the weekend so Aroha offered to switch everything over for me and called me within ten mins to say everything was done.

Now that's what customer service should be like everywhere.

I have been a Vodafone customer for a long time now (around 8 or 9 years) and I have to say on the few occasions I have called their support, they have been outstanding. So much so that I would never condsider leaving.

Some other communications companies should take note.
