Whenever I browse the web using my Vodafone GPRS service, I find that the quality of images is reduced in order to allow them to load more quickly. Occasionally, I would like to be able to display a particular image in all its glory and I note that, if I hover my mouse over the image, I am told that pressing [shift]+[R] should download and display the original image file, but this doesn't appear to work.

Does anyone know of any alternative methods of displaying the images in their original format? Is it possible to completely disable the image file size reduction feature?
