As mentioned a couple of days ago Vodafone sent out a PDF with their latest bill stating that allowances for customers will increase, and checking the usage meter this morning I see this has happened.
However, as I am on the Ultimate Pack (which was 20GB, now 30GB) I would expect to have a 60GB allowance with my 'double data' option - Problem 1 is that I only have 50GB
Problem 2 - when going to Vodafone's pages for Internet (vodafone.co.nz/broadband) I get a blank page - I wanted to check the new allowance rules and in particular the 'double data' option, which I think is just waiting to be updated to match the new plans.
Anybody know if this is the case?
Personally I think it is fantastic to get an extra 10GB (20GB when doubled) for free, and it is more than overdue of Vodafone in the face of 100GB+ plans offered by other ISP's (I have been looking to move for this very reason, however I may now stay).
I just hope this doesn't reveal more chinks in Vodafones billing/allowance system.
