As mentioned a couple of days ago Vodafone sent out a PDF with their latest bill stating that allowances for customers will increase, and checking the usage meter this morning I see this has happened.

However, as I am on the Ultimate Pack (which was 20GB, now 30GB) I would expect to have a 60GB allowance with my 'double data' option - Problem 1 is that I only have 50GB

Problem 2 - when going to Vodafone's pages for Internet (vodafone.co.nz/broadband) I get a blank page - I wanted to check the new allowance rules and in particular the 'double data' option, which I think is just waiting to be updated to match the new plans.

Anybody know if this is the case?

Personally I think it is fantastic to get an extra 10GB (20GB when doubled) for free, and it is more than overdue of Vodafone in the face of 100GB+ plans offered by other ISP's (I have been looking to move for this very reason, however I may now stay).

I just hope this doesn't reveal more chinks in Vodafones billing/allowance system.

Don't the new data bundles start on the 1st July?

As far as I know it was the 16th June, that is what the attachment in the email said, and I do have 50GB now which indicates an increase to 30GB + 20GB double data (which I assume where one of the problems are)

I guess double your data is a bit like one of those "unlimited" plans

@timbosan:

We've been in the process of rolling out changes to this information just this morning and some of these changes would not have gone live until after you posted.

The information should now be up-to-date.

Cheers,

Dan Willis,
Vodafone NZ Online.

Mine too!  Although I can only see this on the 'Check Usage' page, the dropdown for 'How Your Tracking' now seems broken, at least under IE (I cannot test Firefox or Chrome from work...)

20GB for free a month ALMOST makes it worth while staying with Vodafone ;-)

Haha, I'll definitely be sticking with them for longer now. The problem is I now have 25GB to use up in 2 days Laughing
