I'm off for a week in Tonga soon and am wondering if anyone knows about the availability of mobile data in Nuku'alofa. Is it possible to buy a GSM sim while over there and get any sort of data connection?

what would you want connectivity for in tonga? relax, go swimming, go diving, have a cocktail or three. Leave the mobile at home!

I knew someone would say that. I will be swimming, diving, cocktailing and having an all round good time!

However, I will have to do some work while there and if I can do it on my phone I'll be happier than traipsing around looking for an internet cafe.

I see you have posted your question under the Vodafone NZ section

So are you asking if Vodafone NZ provide data roaming in Tonga? YES

Tonga Digicel $10/MB
