Stumbled on a code generator for unlocking networks for mobile phones especially UK phones. Old news im sure for the tech heads.Unicalc is a fantastic device for code generation required for unlocking. Any comments on this programme??

Just a word of warning - posting codes (unlock or service) probably is against the rules here.

From the guidelines:
  • Unlock codes should not be posted

  • ---

Apart from that. Haven't used it. Though a few others might have (NZ-sold GSM phones tend to be unlocked anyway).

This program will probably mostly only work with old Nokia's, and as the new unlock code generators get released, Nokia update their FW to disable the keys used in those SWs

Certainly most new phones are using randomly (preprogramed) unlock codes, so tools like this aren't much use.

If you've got an old Nokia lying around that's locked though it'll probably be of some use.

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

I agree with muppet. Once you input the codes five times and wasn't successful, phone can now be unlocked only by connecting to a computer.

hey guys thanks for the comments. The generator yes it does only work for older phones. I have since found a few unlock generators through the midst of alot of viruses.
The newer Nokias cannot be unlocked though unfortunately. Also have found a really cool website for installing Sony Ericsson software such as Opera Browser which enables you to view html sites on your V800.

Never heard of this model before. The generators dont support that handset type. Also the software/hardware for flashing of this model would also be very hard to come by in NZ

Are you meaning Opera Mini? This is available as a free download from the Opera site.

Opera Mini is free, and should be downloaded directly from Opera. Why download from somewhere else and risk a trojan or worm?

As for the site being free, that could be true, but are the software free?
