My 3GS has developed some problems and I'm planning on returning it to the VF store in the next day or so... How long can I expect to be without it?

I have searched, things change.. I don't really care who does the repair I'm going to drop it back to them (thats where I bought it from), they can sort out where it gets repaired.. I'm just looking for an estimate on when I'll have it back.

Please if you have no useful information don't reply.

A colleague dropped his phone off at Vodafone last Friday.  He went back in today (so 4-5 working days) and the repair people were claiming his problem was caused by water damage.

Based on that I'd say it will take a week for them to come up with an excuse and goodness knows how long it will take before it is fixed.

Next time just buy a cheap Nokia and when it breaks you just buy another one! Money mouth

I have an update.

The timeline seems to be a week for them to misdiagnose the problem.

Now they have looked again they found they had his iphone mixed up with another.  His problem has been fixed and phone should be back tomorrow.  It was just a quick tweak to fix, didn't require them to repair anything.
