Hey.
Got me one of those new Motorola 3g RZR's from italy. Have unlocked it and set it up for NZ VF pxt and wap browsing, so all is well.
However, i can't check my prepay balance with it.
there is a 'credit available' function on the phone - but this is through the '3' network.
Anyone know how i can change it? or if theres a direct address i can try.

and i've set it all up for VF live, but whenever i try view pics it says 'your handset model is not supported yet' is this just becuase my phone model is new? or becos its an import?
can i change this?

Cheers

Haven't noticed as that being an option available on the NZ handsets.

You can check your balance/credit using the Vodafone SIM menu, texting 'BAL' to 777 or calling 777.

I noticed on my P910 when I put a Chinamobile SIM in it, I get 'call cost' and I can set a budget on it... but its all clientside (on the phone/SIM).

If you have SIM2, then txt the word BAL to 777 & you will get an updated balance within seconds. I don't think you can use "Credit Available" in New Zealand.

No idea on that issue, but I suggest you contact Vodafone or PM fellow Geekzone member "johnr".
