Hi. I want to take a vodafone phone to the UK and buy a simcard over there. Are vodafone phones locked to the network in NZ?

Welcome to Geekzone. No, they are not locked. But if the network there uses some special features they may not work on your phone due to Vodafone's own customisations.

Depending on the age of the handset but yes they have not been SIM locked since around 2001 or 2002
