Hi folks
Ive a thompson speedtouch telecom freebee modem plus watchguard edge firewall/switch
any idea of VOIP will work thru this collection of second hand and giveaway hardware?
I was looking at the Dlink dsl-2730b in H. Norman, quite cost effective with QOService for voip.
http://www.dlink.co.nz/products/?pid=804
only $160 so will probably dump my current collection for this. Anyone had experience of dlink and the fusion service or my current telecom modem?
thanks

Do you mean router, or modem/router combo?

Hate to sound like a cracked record, but if you need a cost-effective router, you can't go beyond the WRT54GL with Tomato or dd-wrt firmware on it - more functionality for the $$$ than anything else.

If you need wireless 'n', the Asus RT-N16 is supposed to be the bee's knees.
