Hey Guys,
I'm currently looking at changing plans and the Smart Plans caught my eye (I use my phone more for data based activities and txting with a bit of calling). With the 3GB of included data its a no brainer but they are going to 250MB on the 1st of September 2010.

Do you think the plans will be refreshed then? The only other barrier is a 24month contract which is way too long and knowing how the mobile sphere changes will end up costing me near the end of the contract. SIMple is another option but vodafone don't seem to have any data option between 100MB for $10 a month and 1GB. Should I hold out and hope that the Smart plans will be updated and have a lesser contract length, hope that SIMple has a better data option or look to another provider (I was looking @ Orcon..)?

The Simple plans do have the option for you to purchase the Broadband 100/200MB/1GB addon so it looks like this is the best option for you as oppose to the 24month Smart plans.

I believe the Smart 3GB offer is still on-going despite the 1st September date mentioned on the site.

Very well played Voda - guess I will be sticking on to the plan.

Considering a majority of people out there are still waiting for the new iPhone still.

That post he put up was before all the stuff from yesterday, but I'd like to add that I also appreciate having you around John. You've been very helpful to me on 1 or 2 occasions and it's great knowing that if something can't be resolved using usual channels, that you were there and would help if you could.

Still nothing out of vodafone?
We know they're continuing the 3gig thing, if that's going to keep going for at least months, I might just go buy another prepay sim to use for data only :P

Its fantastic news the offer is continuing.

Its such a pleasure to use my Nexus as it was intended without worrying about going over a cap.
