Hi there. I had a brain explosion and think I have lost $250ish Prepay Credit.

I was on VF up until midday ish today when I decided to port over to 2D because of the $10txting to all networks.

Anyway, on my VF Sim I had around $250 of credit left and completely forgot. Now I am on 2D I have $15 credit. Is there any chance that I can get the credit back? Im pretty sure ive lost it now, but thought I would ask anyway.

Thanks :)

{MOD EDIT : SP : Moved to VF forum as it applies to VF not 2deg}

Call vodafone and pretend to know nothing about the port and ask why your sim isnt working, there is a process to reverse ports that shouldnt have happened, and as it is easy enough to do a port with just a look at someones sim and knowing their phone number I would expect malitious ports are something that does happen.

Then again, exposing on here your stupidity and the fact that johnr reads here means that this may not work for you ;)

I'm curious as to why you would have so much credit to start with.

Do you buy a phone, figure out how long you want to use it for before you upgrade, then add the appropriate amount of credit, so that when it runs out you just throw the phone away and get a new one?

Yeah I know. For some Reason I thought I would still keep my credit. It wasnt until I was on 2D when I thought "Oh $%^&, Ive probably lost my credit now".

Oh well. Thanks for the replies/Jokes guys :)

At least you know your going to get a better deal... Not to mention if you have a problem with 2d about 2-3 of their sales reps will pounce on the thread. Where-as VF... Ouch?!

I wouldn't call getting $500 credit for nothing a bad deal (even if it isn't from Vodafone)...

Are you implying that Vodafone NZ does not support customers on Geekzone?

Or have I read your post the wrong way?

And sure if you want sales people posting / resolving technical issues I will see what I can do

Vodafone does help some customers, but not in the best way. Unfortunately John I always see that you post as if everyone else knows who you are and that they are on the same page as you.
