The title says it all, really. It seems to go down quite often, and last time I emailed them about it they took five days to reply. By then it was working again, so they said "it's working fine".

I think I have a record regarding TC customer service too. I emailed customer service about problems accessing some websites on the 11th of August, and got a reply on the 2nd of September. By then things were working again anyway. The funny thing is they didn't even seem to have read or understood my question, they told me to try something basic. I made them keep trying until they at least understood the question, then told them the problem had resolved itself three weeks ago, just to make a point.

It seems to be working without any problems for me too. I can't actually recall it ever being down.

I can't access any https address on telstraclear.co.nz. It was working fine earlier today, but just times out now.  All other https sites work fine, like my bank.

I called up, the person answering the phone didn't speak English all that well, and didn't know what https is.

I've just learned to put up with the horrible customer service, as the network usually works fine, and it's reasonable value.

Incidentally, there was an automated customer satisfaction survey before I hung up, but I got a word wrong and it hung up on me. Charming.

Ahh, I'm actually connecting via XT at the moment so there might still be an issue with TCL connections. If I remember, I'll do a test when I get home.

Argh, I can't get to it either, and today's my last day of the month. Hope they fix it before I get home.

Maybe my tweet will get some attention. Maybe not.

It's working now. It looks like tweeting is the way to get things fixed with TC.

The usage meter always seems to break down a couple of days before my change-over date.

You don't choose a book by its cover but it does determine which ones you read.

HTTPS on www.telstraclear.co.nz timing out for me tonight as well.

Very fail.

Their usage meter goes down on a regular basis but usually does come back on within a few hours. The best description I can come up for it is 'dependably unreliable.'

But, yes, it's Customer-Zone appears to be unavailable at the moment.

It's working again for me now. Was down for a while today but back up now. Perhaps it was down as part of the speed and data cap upgrades expected tomorrow but done today.
