Hi guys,
Am looking to get a new 16GB iPhone 4 but am unsure whether to go VFNZ plan or look at XT or continue with 2D.
So, a couple of questions about the iPhone plans.

I have tried to do some research/called 0800 but its hard to get a straight answer.

1.  If I change my iPhone plan I will not be charged if I go to a higher tier on the plan?

2.  If i go to a lower tier I will be charged, unless I have been on the previous tier of the iPhone plan for 6 months +???

3. My iphone number can be added to an existing family plan?  Or i need to be the one to initiate and keep paying for the family plan?

4.  Any incentives to migrate to VFNZ right now from another provider?  CSR said yes on the phone but wouldnt provide details and told me to ask in store.  I know for a fact stores are all but useless, refering every possible issue back to the CSRs.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Ross

best to ask on the VF forums.

i'm on the VF network simply because of the 3gb data promotion + tethering

if they so consider to revise that offer, i'll jump ship immediately and i believe plenty of others will too.

Yes thats correct. This is the case when you move from lower iPhone plans to the higher tiered ones.

2.  If i go to a lower tier I will be charged, unless I have been on the previous tier of the iPhone plan for 6 months +???

Thats correct as well. Charges may vary but to if you on the plan for more than 6 months, downgrading via plan transfers wont incur a charge. ie: Smart2 for iPhone downgrade to Smart 1 for iPhone on a 24month term.

3. My iphone number can be added to an existing family plan?  Or i need to be the one to initiate and keep paying for the family plan?

If there is another family owner then yes you can be added to their group. Family owners can only be On account customers. You still have the option to have your own Family if you want as well.

4.  Any incentives to migrate to VFNZ right now from another provider?  CSR said yes on the phone but wouldnt provide details and told me to ask in store.  I know for a fact stores are all but useless, refering every possible issue back to the CSRs.

VFNZ is still running the 3GB promo so data is well sorted.
