Hi,

I got  number of Voda / 2Degree / XT prepay SIMs that the number was ported from one to another.

Since the Telco's selling prepay SIM's around $30 as a pack only, I wonder is there any way to recycle these prepay SIMs at all.

I have asked a Vodafone representive whether I can load new prepay number on prepay SIM card but said not possible.

Should I throw away all the prepay SIM card that the number was ported from?

Cheers

No, don't throw them away.

Drill holes in each one and string them up on a necklace and start wearing it around town.  You will be the envy of all your friends. Cool

Seriously though, while it is not difficult technically to reprovision SIM cards in practise it is just too messy logistics wise so companies don't bother.  There is also less risk in using a new SIM each time as your old SIM may be breaking down.
