Folks, a question that crosses a few Forums ... I'm on TCL cable and getting great access near or over the 15mbps service.
What I've observed (XP Pro) with the two network connections (I'm also using a wifi router) is the the Local Area Connection (router to PC) is 100mbps and the Internet Connection (cable modem to router) is 10mbps.
Question: Why does the Internet Connection only show a 10mbps figure?
Obviously the access is flying along, and that the router to PC connection is capable of 100mbps, yet the O/S reports the lowly 10mbps figure for data transfer between the cable modem and router .... possibly a foible of XP?
