Cable, chch.  Both fark and slashdot are failing for me today, fine through hidemyass.com though.

Anybody else seeing the same?  Other sites also affected?  

Bet it's the usual culprit, the poxy proxy.

I've had five sites fail to resolve so far this morning, also chch cable, so I'd say it's not just you. (Just checked the network status, and they actually say there's a network issue for cable broadband. Not sure if they're talking about the same thing, though)
