Sorry if this has been asked, but is it true that the HTC Desire HD won't be released in NZ. I was talking to a sales person in a Vodafone store today and they said it won't be released here.
I recommend www.clove.co.uk - landed in NZ for around $870ish all up. Available in a couple of weeks. They don't charge until it's ready to be shipped too.
I'd never buy from Vodafone anyways, they'll charge too much and probably have their rubbish firmware on it.
FWIW sales people at Vodafone generally know roughly nothing about phones, much less the companies upcoming handsets, so I'd take what they said with a grain of salt.
