One of my numbers I actually want has expired off 2 degrees, its an old 021 number I have had for ages.

If I go get another sim, what is the chances that someone at vodafone can change the number? I recall that there were certain ranges of numbers and cards last time I needed a sim change, is that still the case?

Check to see if 2 degrees can reinstate it first maybe? I guess they lapse them after a year of non-use, but maybe they give you a grace period?

Ported out numbers that expire or are deactivated have to be passed back to the original carrier that had the number in quite a short time frame 7 or 14 days I think
