Re renting movies using T-Box.  Twice now, we clicked on a movie to rent it only to discover that "rented" symbols are showing on both the movie for the timeslot we ordered as well as on same movie starting on the next timeslot (30mins after the start of the timeslot we booked for).  There seems to be no way to cancel it either, even before either timeslots had started.

The first time my wife phoned up & was told we had been charged twice for the same movie.   Even though the second version started less than half way through the first screening, it still took sometime to convince the operator (foreign accent) that we neither booked nor wanted to watch the same movie twice (let alone in parallel).  Even then the operator said all she could do was make a note of the issue.  Still have no idea whether the charge for the second time slot has been cancelled or not.

Can anyone please clarify the situation - is it standard that after renting a movie, it shows as rented on multiple timeslots of the same movie?

I could understand that if there was only a single charge for the rented movie (ah la hiring a video - can watch it more than once if really wanted to).

However, it is the advice that to movie rental is being charge twice that is a concern.

Hi

When you order a movie in "Now's Good" you will only be charged for the movie you click on and enter you pin with.

When it is processed, the T-Box will automatically highlight all the other showings for that movie in the next 24 hour period. THe T-Box will highlight all showings of that movie across all channels it is scheduled to play on. You can watch the movie as much as you like within the 24 hour period.

The call centre person may have been mistaken, you should be only charged once for the movie. If you _are_ charged for the movie twice and it shows on your next bill, then send me a PM and I'll chase it up for you.

Hope that helps.

(Note: The 24 hour rental period currently only applies to the T-Box and not customers on the ADB Digital Set Top Box).

Thanks for the explanation. I expected that should be the case (similar to a 1 day DVD rental). Wife says the call centre person tonight also claimed the movie rented tonight was showing as two rentals (as per the one several days ago).

Guess we need to wait & see what shows up on our next monthly invoice (not due for almost another month).
