I'm sure i'm not the only one encountering this so i though i would post here to see what other people are doing.

I have been quoting a few sites with 6-12 phone lines over the last few weeks. I would really like to quote a complete package from one provider and i would like that provider to be WxC.

For this to be feasable i need a connection with a consistent 600-1200 upload and download for the phone lines (plus extra for the internet connection). Some of these sites would require 2000-3000 for the phones alone when you take remote phones into account.

Does worldxchange offer connections in these speed ranges? If not what are other people using? I have checked out the TCL VDSL connections (high upload speeds) and they seem to be ok.

Any suggestions?

600-1200 whats? 2000-3000 what? bytes? kilobytes? bits?
adsl2 maxes out at ~1mbit upstream if you're close to the exchange and have a good line/wiring..

My bad i'm talking kbits.

For 6+ lines adsl is really a bit of a push. it has to be a good connection to support it.

For that kind of consistent bandwidth you'll need to look at something like HSNS - but sorry, not sure if this is offered by WxC.

HSNS is basically a symmetric service delivered over copper (2 pairs) below about 10mbs and fibre above that.

Yes, at the moment we use VDSL (TCL), HSNS, Wireless (local provider), fibre.

What we were hoping for was a complete solution from WxC.

WxC will be able to provide fibre in the main centers, Araneo fixed wireless in many areas, probably HSNS in most places etc. so why not ring and ask? They should give you an account manager to talk you through the details. HSNS/Araneo will most likely be the most cost effective solution for what your trying to do.

There are other options available to you as well such as colocating the PBX at their data center and connecting all sites remotely (if you have many customers running this you could put your own server in there with a VM for each customer). You could look @ load balancing multiple DSL lines or also look at using G.729 which is much more bandwidth efficient.

Yes we do have multiple options it will all depend on the custys location to what access options are available for SMB we will always recommend commercial grade access options, your best bet is to phone in and chat to the sales guys about the dealer channel.

Yes I am a employee of WxC (My Profile) ... but I do have my own opinions as well Wink
