Saw this being advertised when I walked past a Vodafone store today. 3 months free internet on selected On Account plans. Text '2' to 4114.  Starts on the 24th November according to the text I got back.

When I text it, I get an error message, and a request to please text 1 for double minutes in december to 4114. 

That would increase my 300 peak anytime to... 600... hmm I cant even get through 300.


More data would be nice though!

I tried and got the same reply. I wonder how that would work as I've already got double minutes through the promotion when i signed up a few weeks ago. I'm not complaining though, I'll take them if there're given them out. Just don't know how I'll use 480 minutes.

I got a little leaflet in the mail yesterday, kinda funny the way they keep using the Android phones like this. Also, I didn't realise until I looked online that I could get 100mb data, oh well, double minutes for me :)

Just tried texting both "1" & "2" to 4114, came back with the offer not available to me :(

Its probably because I am on a special association corporate plan. What a shame.

Not any more. I just bought a prepay sim as the website says 100mb data free for 3 months, but when I actually bought it and installed it it said 50mb free for 1 month.

So naturally I was disappointed by this, but oh well.

Does anyone know when the double minutes are actioned?

Last night was the end of my billing cycle, now have my new months allocation for dec-jan, but no double minutes showing on balance?

I sent the text, and received the confirmation after receiving the letter by post.

Both me and the misses had our double minutes added late the day after our billing ended. Done manually perhaps? On the bright side they reset the minute counter so even though I'd made calls I went back to no minutes used.

Just like magic, my minutes have gone from 30 anytime, to 60 anytime.

I'm on the Mega plan so have 20 min national anytime minutes and 200 min to vf mobiles. I see that my anytime minutes have been doubled to 40min but not the 200 vf minutes. Obvioulsy the double up only applies to national anytime minutes. Pity, I would rather have it the other way. Oh well, something is better than nothing!
